“Does not balance” is usually an open loop, not an error. When there is an issue with a file, MVT sends money to the LPT broker and LPT returns it by ACH. Between those two events the DA legitimately shows less disbursed than authorised. The figure is left exactly as the broker signed it — never adjusted to make it balance — and the flag stands until the deposit lands. Tracking that gap is the reason this queue exists.
